Preaching
Our goal is to present opportunities and resources to inspire men with a passion for Biblical preaching and equip them with knowledge, understanding, and skills in the preparation and presentation of powerful preaching.
Church Planting
As the center grows, and the senior presenters meet and present regularly, specific initiatives will be developed and shared for church planting
Stay tuned as we present the specific initiatives with timelines and action points for a strong church-planting movement in the United States.
Research
To aid in the development of preaching and church planting initiatives, research will be conducted on topics such as a Biblical theology of preaching from the Old and New Testament, a historical study of the makings of a great preacher and the makings of a great sermon, a study of the strength and weaknesses of the church planting movements, and many other relevant topics.
Current initiatives to begin the research arm of the NCPCP:
- Develop an extensive collection of primary sources at the Nelson Library at Baptist College of Ministry.
- Conduct immersive research in the secondary literature to discover and make connections with the experts on the topics.
- Regular transcription and study of sermons by students at the Center
